Devotional Fraternities

Devotional fraternities which support the Anglican Use may affiliate with the Society or they may be endorsed by the Society.  By being accepted as an affiliated devotional fraternity, their members become members of the Anglican Use Society, the devotional fraternity will have its rule published in the Handbook of the Anglican Use Society, and a roster of members will be listed for the purpose of praying for each other.

Members of affiliated devotional fraternities will use The Book of Divine Worship for their daily office.  Typically clergy, seminarians, and aspirants for the priesthood will recite at least Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer.  Laity are expected to recite at least one of the Book of Divine Worship offices.

Members of the Anglican Use Society who are also members of devotional fraternities and religious orders, endorsed or not, whether clergy or laity, are encouraged to use The Book of Divine Worship for their daily office.

Members of devotional fraternities and religious orders are encouraged to wear the Canterbury Cross emblem.
